St. Joseph Energy Center Phase 1 - New Carlisle, Ind.
Situated on a 165 acre site in New Carlisle, Indiana, the St. Joseph Energy Center Phase 1 project is a 715 MW natural gas-fired, 2x1 combined-cycle power plant.
Kiewit was the EPC contractor for the project, which features two SGT6-5000F gas turbines, one SST6-5000 steam turbine and three SGen-1000A air-cooled generators.
Completed in 2018, the facility is interconnected to the PJM market, a regional transmission organization that serves all or parts of 13 states in the northeastern United States, as well as Indiana and Southern Michigan.
