Pine Bluff Feed Mill

Kiewit subsidiary, Ibberson, designed and constructed a poultry feed mill. The mill includes fully automated batching at 140 tons per hour, pelleting in two lines at 120 tons per hour, rail receiving at 600 tons per hour, truck receiving at 350 tons per hour, barge unloading at 600 tons per hour, grinding at 120 tons per hour and loadout at 400 tons per hour.

The project included engineering, site development, foundations and slip-form construction millwright installation, as well as installation of a railroad, ancillary buildings and liquid systems. The site includes an 83-foot by 41-foot by 194-foot-tall feed mill with an attached 80-foot by 100-foot warehouse, with employee welfare rooms and offices, three 28-foot diameter silos and a 44-foot diameter silo.
