Parmelee & Braiden Residence Hall Projects
Fort Collins, Colorado
Colorado State University’s Parmelee and Braiden Residence Halls consisted of 141,120 SF of renovation and 60,000 SF of addition work for a total of 1,176 beds. The Kiewit team added a fourth floor to the residence hall wing, built new residential support spaces, renovated interiors of the existing floors and installed new exterior finishes, insulation and windows, all while the residence halls were partially occupied. Two residence hall wing additions were built, enclosed and dry during each 90-day academic summer break period.
This project was a complex, multi-phased campus addition in an occupied facility.
