OLEFINS RECOVERY PROJECT

Kiewit and joint venture partner Chiyoda International Corporation (Chiyoda) were contracted by Gulf Coast Growth Ventures LLC (GCGV) to engineer, procure and construct the olefins portion of a world-class plastics manufacturing facility, including the entire 1.8 MTPA ethylene plant and associated utilities. The abundance of low-cost U.S. natural gas in the area provided a unique opportunity for GCGV to build this multi-billion-dollar world-scale facility.
