Hawk Central Transfer Facility
Mentone, Texas
Kiewit subsidiary, TIC, constructed a 40-million-standard-cubic-feet-per-day central transfer facility. The station gathers oil and gas from tankless wells, separates the oil and sends the product to gas processing and oil transfer plants.
The scope included the installation of four gas compressors, an inlet slug catcher, a discharge separator skid, an inlet oil separator, a dehydration unit, gas and oil metering skids, oil pumping skids, two flares, two electrical power distribution centers, two transformers and a truck loadout system. Most of the equipment and pipe racks were modularized with limited stick-built support racks.
