The Nebraska Crossing Outlet project redeveloped the 350,000 square foot open air retail shopping center, situated on 31 acres in Gretna, NE. The project consisted of removing the previous 218,588 square foot facility and replacing it with 11 buildings ranging from 18,000 square foot to 64,000 square foot and a 1,700 stall parking lot. There are approximately 78 tenant bays categorically placed based on retail classification. Nebraska Crossing Outlets also includes a center courtyard and additional public spaces.
The Aksarben Village Gordmans is a new 3 story mixed use building that was built on Aksarben Village Zone 8. The building is 113,000 square-foot with two levels of office space and one level retail and restaurants. Gordmans currently occupies all of level three and 75% of level two.
The Borsheims Fine Jewelry and Gifts Addition project consisted of remodeling and expanding corporate office and retail space and the addition of first level retail space, front entry and warehouse. The 62,500-square-foot project was completed over six phases to enable the store to remain fully operational throughout construction.
Kiewit was contracted to perform a complete interior demolition, structural reconstruction and tenant fit out of the space. The project added interior spaces include offices, a conference room, showroom, main shop area and an elevator.
Aksarben Village is a 76-acre, mixed-use development, which includes offices, state-of-the-art research technology facilities and retail, residential, recreation and entertainment facilities.
The Lahaina Gateway is a 144,000-square-foot lifestyle center and one of the newest improvements to the island of Maui. Kiewit constructed the lifestyle center, which is made up of various styles of buildings, ranging from historic, plantation style to a modern style with Stucco finishes.
The Woodhouse auto dealership project consisted of building a new 6,000-square-foot building. The individual project components included constructing 2,786 square feet of new showroom space, adding a 1,250-square-foot new parts receiving area and adding a 1,680-square-foot new Porsche addition.
The Woodhouse Nissan facility houses a two-story, 35,000-square-foot auto dealership. The facility contains space for sales, service reception, service center, technician's lounge, parts storage, administration and additional support areas.
The University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union project included demolition of the existing building, site improvements, foundation and basement construction and the construction of a two-story, steel-framed building with brick and metal panel veneer skin. Kiewit was also responsible for all interior finishes and site work for the facility, which houses the Credit Union's main retail location.
