iStructure Omaha - Omaha, Neb.
The iStructure Omaha project involved the construction of an 89,000-square-foot data center and office facility on a fast-track schedule.
The structural design of the facility integrated two approaches. The lower level was a case-hardened structure of poured-in-place concrete which has the ability to withstand 200 mph wind shear. The upper level is a metal stud wall designed to withstand 90 mph winds and is able to break away under more severe forces, leaving the lower level completely operational.
