Bangkok Pet Food Plant Addition

Kiewit subsidiary, Ibberson, was contracted by Perfect Companion Group to design and engineer an additional extrusion line for its pet food plant in Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to engineering, the work included procurement, expediting and shipping of the process equipment and steel bins.

This project replaced an existing batching scale and mixer by installing a fine-grinding system, secondary mixer system, extruder system, dryer cooler, screener, liquid-coater system, after cooler, finished-product storage bins, large packaging line, small bag packaging line and controls. Ibberson supervised mechanical installation, commissioning and startup. The work was completed on schedule without shutdowns.

Ibberson was also awarded Phase II of the project, which included design and procurement of equipment for a new batch ingredient tower and equine food processing facility.”
