Appomattox Platform

Kiewit fabricated the 35,000-ton topsides for the Appomattox floating production platform at our fabrication yard in Ingleside, Texas. With a capacity of 175,000 barrels of oil per day, Appomattox is the owner’s largest floating platform in the Gulf of Mexico.

Scope of work included the fabrication, construction and integration of the topsides including utility, power, process and living quarters modules as well as the water injection package. Additionally, work included fabrication and installation of mooring equipment and 16 suction piles totaling 3,600 tons.
