The Kiewit-Nuvumiut joint venture began work at Raglan in 1995. Kiewit-Nuvumiut’s work includes open-pit mining, ore transport, quarrying and aggregate crushing for roads and pads at the nickel sulphide deposit. With a fleet of 200+ machines, K/N was able to move around 2 million MT of material and crush 300,000 MT annually.
