The Championship Center features a 13,900 square-foot gym with two full courts, 7,000 square-foot weight room, lockers, training room with prehab and rehab equipment and a 1,300 square-foot player lounge on the main level.
The UNO Community Arena consists of a 219,249 square foot sports and recreation facility. The arena serves over 7,500 people for hockey events, and 8,000 for basketball and volleyball events. Other uses of the facility will include graduations, community recreation, athletic competition, and entertainment events such as concerts and the circus.
The project consisted of a 15,000 square-foot Tenant Improvement at the Village Pointe Medical Center. The Ambulatory Surgery Center houses four new operating rooms and two procedure rooms serving patients in the areas of pain management, plastics, ear, nose & throat, allergy, gastrointestinal and general surgery.
The project is a seven-level parking structure containing 735 parking stalls on the existing Lot 6 Parking area. This project is a design-build partnership between Kiewit and designer Leo A Daly. The parking structure is being built for Nebraska Medicine.
This project consisted of renovating an existing 26,000 sq. ft., two-story building located in the heart of Omaha at 72nd and Dodge, which included a complete renovation of the interior space, all new mechanical and electrical systems, a new skin, an exterior media screen and a resurfaced parking lot.
The Durham Western Heritage Museum lecture hall project transformed a former boiler room that was built in 1899 into a 266 seat theater.
A Kiewit-led joint venture provided sitework, precast and cast-in-place concrete services for Cardinals Stadium, home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, Super Bowl XLII, the annual Fiesta Bowl and other events. Kiewit also built the 63,500-seat stadium's unique rollout field that can be retracted from the stadium, allowing for rodeos and other events.
The Alyeska Resort featuring The Hotel Alyeska provides first-class, year-round accommodations for tourists from around the world. Crews constructed a new 315,000-square-foot, nine-story European-style, 308-room ski resort hotel with two independent pavilions, 15,000 square feet of meeting space, a banquet-style ballroom, and a connecting walkway to the new tram terminal.
Occupying two square blocks in downtown Omaha, the Holland Performing Arts Center includes a 2,000-seat concert hall; a 400-seat recital hall; a street-level lobby and covered arrival plaza; an upper-level main lobby; and a semi-enclosed outdoor performance and event garden.
The Lahaina Gateway is a 144,000-square-foot lifestyle center and one of the newest improvements to the island of Maui. Kiewit constructed the lifestyle center, which is made up of various styles of buildings, ranging from historic, plantation style to a modern style with Stucco finishes.
