University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) EP-1 Lab Upgrade

This project consisted of a 2,000-SF renovation to the Electrophysiology-1 Lab (EP-1) at the University of Washington Medical Center Montlake located in Seattle, WA. The renovation also included modifications to the adjacent control room, equipment room and storage room. Kiewit’s scope consisted of demolishing existing finishes and ceiling to structure, removal of MEP and selective wall removal. The new scope included mechanical, plumbing, electrical and medical gas and new structural work for the integrated medical ceiling to support owner-provided medical equipment. Kiewit provided flooring, casework, ceiling/ACT, paint and wall protection for the renovated spaces. A new fan coil unit was installed for an adjacent IT room.
