Wayagamack Paper Machine Number 4

Kiewit affiliate, Ganotec, installed a Metso OptiConcept paper machine at the Wayagamack Coated Paper Mill. The new machine has a wire width of 8 meters, a design speed of 1,500 meters per minute and produces 200,000 tons per year of lightweight coated paper.

Installation of the new paper machine included the forming, press, dryer, coater and reel sections in addition to the in-line supercalender and winder. The dryer section steam and condensate system piping were also included in the scope.
