The Brain Lab project consisted of the renovation of reclaimed space from a parking garage to house a new beam surgery room. The vault that houses the specialized equipment uses 30-inch-thick concrete walls and a 24-inch-thick concrete roof coupled with a primary lead shield to contain radiation used in patient treatment. The project required extensive coordination in order to ensure building infrastructure was in place prior to the Novalis Brain Lab installation.
