Hickam Dormitory and Hangar Complex - Honolulu, HI

Kiewit Pacific Co. constructed both the $7.8 million Hickam Air Force Base Dormitory and the $5.2 million Hickam Hanger Complex for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The dormitory is a three-story, 38,300-sq.-ft. building to house enlisted military personnel. Construction of the hangar involved upgrading the fire alarm and sprinkler systems for Hangars 34 and 35.

Hurricane Andrew Cleanup - Homestead, FL

Kiewit led a massive mobilization effort immediately after Hurricane Andrew swept through Dade County, Fla. The $31 million contract called for the removal of debris from the public right-of-way covering a 56-square-mile area, using more than 1,800 personnel, 900 trucks and 200 loaders.

Island Pacific Academy - Kapolei, HI

Despite some unforeseen challenges, Kiewit Construction Company completed this project two months ahead of schedule and was able to help the Owner save more than $1 million. Completed in September 2004 under a design-assist contract, Island Pacific Academy is the first private school built in fast-growing Kapolei.

iStructure Omaha -

The iStructure Omaha project involved the construction of an 89,000 SF data center and office facility on a fast-track schedule. The structural design of the facility integrated two approaches. The lower level was a case-hardened structure of poured-in-place concrete which has the ability to withstand 200 MPH wind shear.

iStructure Tempe -

The iStructure Tempe project involved the construction of a 60,000 SF building including a 31,000 SF state-of-the-art data center built to withstand the effects of a natural disaster. The facility infrastructure included multiple UPS systems, redundant generators, and a back-up water supply system.

Kuakini Medical Center - Honolulu, HI

The Kuakini Medical Center emergency department was renovated to create a state-of-the-art facility that matched the aesthetic look of a newly constructed hospital wing. The scope of work included a complete interior demolition of the existing emergency department interior, structurally enhancing the facility, rebuilding the interior and adding an entrance canopy.
