Kiewit Power Employees Recognized for Quality Performance

Lenexa, KS — Several talented Kiewit Power Engineers Co. employees have been honored for their high standards of excellence and their dedication to innovative power design and delivery. The company recently presented the following awards at their annual district meeting:

  • Engineering Innovation Award: Timothy Dement, structural engineer on the Southwest Power Plant, Unit 1 Selective Catalytic Reduction Retrofit Project
  • Design Quality Award: John Morrow, lead instrumentation and controls designer on the Bartow Repowering Project
  • Commitment to Excellence Award: Jessica Czech, assistant department manager

Each of the three employees received a $1,000 award. Kevin Diehl, Tom Shino, Ron Callahan, Bonnie Peterman, Bernice Morris and Cynthia Zugelder received a cash prize and recognition as runners-up for the awards.
