Kiewit Power Announces Management Addition at Lenexa Office

Lenexa, KS — Kiewit Power Engineers Co. recently announced the addition of Ken Montgomery to their management team. As Instrumentation and Controls Department Manager, Montgomery will be responsible for overseeing the department’s staff of designers and engineers, as well as department codes and standards, staff evaluations and development, and department quality initiatives.

Montgomery joined Kiewit Power in November 2007. He has more than 18 years of power industry experience in design and utility work, and has been involved with national committees for the Nuclear Energy Institute and the Department of Energy. Montgomery has a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Kansas State University and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Kansas.

Outside of work, Montgomery enjoys spending time with his wife, Monica, and their two children, Trevor and Marissa. Montgomery is also involved in the community as an engineering mentor at Westridge Middle School and as a deacon at Shawnee Park Christian Church.
