Kiewit is a privately held company solely owned by active employees through participation in the Peter Kiewit Sons', Inc. Employee Ownership Plan. Active employees who are making decisions about the direction of the organization are invited to purchase stock. Employee ownership is a key factor in our long-term success and approximately 75 percent of our salaried employees who have been with Kiewit five years or longer own interests in the Plan.
Our compensation structure is based on local, regional or national compensation data, depending upon the position. Compensation for all Kiewit employees is reviewed bi-annually and adjusted on the basis of individual performance.
