Citizen and Immigration Services Nebraska Center

This design-build project was awarded Silver Certification by the US Green Building LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program. Internally and externally, the 144,000 sq. ft. office building includes mechanical, electrical and lighting systems that improve energy efficiency and lower operating costs.

Global Operations Center Renovation

Kiewit Construction Company successfully delivered Phase I of this project, an $8 million design-assist contract to renovate the Global Operations Center at USSTRATCOM, with zero recordable incidents. Following Phase I completion, the team was awarded Phase II, a follow-on contract to be completed in late summer 2006.

GSA CIS Denver Office

Kiewit Building Group Inc. is constructing the Government Services Administration – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Denver District Office. Kiewit self-performed the concrete foundation, topping slabs and tight work. The 45,876-square-foot building was designed to meet LEED® Silver guidelines including high energy performance curtain walls and window systems to minimize solar heat and maximize daylight.

Anchorage Sport Fish Hatchery

Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities awarded Kiewit Building Group Inc., a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, to construct the 134,000-square-foot Anchorage Sport Fish Hatchery. Once complete, the hatchery will be the largest sport fish hatchery in North America to date.
