Kiewit Building Group has delivered facilities ranging from barracks for service personnel to military command centers and airplane hangars. When needed, we have security clearance approved personnel available for confidential and top-secret projects. This design-build project was awarded Silver Certification by the US Green Building LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program. Internally and externally, the 144,000 sq. ft. office building includes mechanical, electrical and lighting systems that improve energy efficiency and lower operating costs.
The Newport News Federal Courthouse is a 35,000 square foot, LEED Silver certified facility. The interior structural, security and utility work included the construction of courtrooms, jury rooms and judges’ chambers on the upper two floors, office areas for administrative and security personnel, and a two-story lobby with sitting areas and restrooms.
The J. James Exon Regional FBI Headquarters is a multi-building, secure campus. The campus includes a 97,800 square foot office building, 49,400 square foot parking garage and a 14,500 square foot annex building. The main four-story building achieved LEED Gold certification and incorporated numerous sustainable design features.
Kiewit Building Group Inc. is constructing the Government Services Administration – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Denver District Office. The 45,876-square-foot building was designed to meet LEED® Silver guidelines.
The Offutt Housing privatization project consisted of demolition of 1,370 homes, build 916 new homes, renovate 546 existing homes, build new community center, and more.
The National Park Services Regional Headquarters is a LEED Gold certified, three-story office building. The 68,000 square foot building contains office and meeting rooms on the upper levels while the lower levels are a mixture of public and private spaces.
