Kiewit Ethics and Compliance Program

A fundamental principle at Kiewit is that there is no gain or benefit that justifies unethical conduct.blockquote

Bruce Grewcock

We have built an enviable, well-deserved reputation for integrity and honesty in our workplace conduct and our business relationships. To make sure we live up that expectation, we stay true to our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and the Kiewit Ethics and Compliance Program.

The latter is designed with efficient, effective corporate controls that demonstrate our full, proactive compliance with all laws, regulations, contract requirements, policies and procedures. It is comprised of three parts: an approach to management understanding and involvement; organization structure and support; and plan components including risk assessments, training and education, compliance assessments, bubble-up reporting; and disciplinary measures.

To us, ethical behavior is more than just words on paper. It’s a total commitment that involves every employee, crosses all lines of business and impacts everything we do. That means not only conducting our business with the highest ethical standards and within the laws and regulations that govern our business — but also doing it in accordance with our own policies and procedures.

We have a zero tolerance policy for unethical conduct or violations of the law. Our employees are expected to report any suspected violation to their immediate supervisor, district management, the Corporate Compliance Department or an attorney in the Kiewit Legal Department.

The Kiewit Compliance Reporting Hotline (1-800-901-1087) may be used for reporting violations anonymously. Employees will not be subject to retaliation or adverse personnel action of any kind for reporting a concern or issues that the employee believes in good faith may violate the law or Kiewit policies.

Ask to speak with the Corporate Compliance Department

We believe every employee deserves the right to speak freely without fear of retaliation or adverse personnel action if they believe in good faith that they have seen a violation of law or Kiewit policies.
